We’ve spent the last week carrying loads up to the base of the central tower. It’s about 6h from the parking lot. The conditions were very Patagonian: wind, rain, wind, snow, gaile force wind, ice, flying rocks, under heavy fire, bombardments and storms from hell! We’re loving it! It still feels good to get spanked! This place is so powerful and magical it’s just amazing to be up there. Despite the terrible weather we’ve managed to position the pieces on the Patagonian chessboard, so the next weather window we are ready to strike. We’re all in good form even though we had some close calls when Pete almost got blown away with the wind.

Tell Mason I think he’s nuts, and I am keeping an eye on him.
though those conditions look awful (pas assez du soleil pour moi!) there’s still such a strong allure to the place, n’est pas? Good luck this week!!!
